Songwriting with Young People

MusicsEnergy: Songwriting with Young People™ is an approach to teaching and learning that introduces young people and those who interact with them to the world of songwriting, sound engineering, media entertainment, recording technology, music marketing, publishing and distribution. Participants receive instruction and therapeutic support to be conscious consumers of music and media, armed with knowledge, skills and the ability to be entrepreneurs, fully awareness of music’s persuasive potential, as well as its social and emotional influence.

ME: SYP Levels I and II encourages young people to become conscious consumers and producers of music and media. Our programming provides curriculum-based instruction and critical thinking tools to become conscious co-creators of life affirming “realities’. We facilitate heightened awareness of music and media’s potential to shape, reflect, and shift attitudes, beliefs, choices, and perceptions about our behavior, culture, and lifestyle.
