Where do we go from here?
A global pandemic has wreaked havoc in families and communities across the United States.
It is hard to ignore the socially constructed “realities” about race, class, gender, and sexuality that repeatedly and perpetually places some people in harm’s way.
We are at a crossroad.
The choices we make now have immediate and long term consequences.
The key question is….
Are we going to go back to when America was a “great nation”, for some?
or …
Are we going to create a more “perfect union” for all?
A dilemma of consequential proportion!
COVID-19 and Health Disparities
COVID-19 disproportionately affects people and communities of color.
Vaccination rates among historically underserved communities lags behind national rates for other populations across the United States.
Mounting Social Dis-ease
Average Americans are facing daily dilemmas deeply rooted in socially constructed myths about race, class, gender, and sexuality.
Consequently, those who are historically marginalized based on the intersection of race and class are predictably and perpetually in harm’s way.
Research shows that people with a darker complexion are more likely to have a fatal interaction with law enforcement than people of a lighter complexion,
People with darker skin have less favorable outcomes with the judicial system, compared to people with lighter skin.
It is critically important to get at the root causes of todays mounting dis-ease, despair, and disparities.
We must separate myths from facts when deconstructing the root causes of today’s mounting social dis-ease.
We must also emphasize the importance of relying on accurate, credible, and reliable information vs. the flurry of misinformation and “alternative facts” rooted in imperialism.
Flagrant abuse of power puts us all in harm’s way and threatens the democracy for which we stand, globally and at home.
The road ahead requires that we re-image the future.
“One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.

The Celebrate Life Project and Tour
The Here’s 2 Life Foundation [H2L], is collaboration with stakeholders in the public and private sectors, presents Celebrate Life Project and Tour raising awareness about mental health, digital literacy, and self-care, in times like these.
The 2021 - 2022 Celebrate Life Project and Tour is implemented via curated events, demonstration projects, and digital platforms.
Taken together, these components contribute to an experience that informs and transforms.

About Here’s 2 Life Foundation [H2L]
Here’s 2 Life’s [H2L] is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Alexandria, Virginia whose mission is to measurably improve the health and wellness of vulnerable populations, including marginalized youth, young adults, and their families. H2L provides training and technical assistance to organizations who support special populations in formal and informal settings, through education and outreach.
